A live team draft Thursday evening, guided by captains Chris Irwin and Zachary Matheson. The order of play and formats will fall into place once the field is set — much like any great championship, unfolding in its own time.
The first sixteen to commit fully — to the draft, to every round, to the weekend in its entirety — earn their place in the field. Do not wait on this one.
Two 8-person lodges secured for the weekend. Teams divided by camp — keeping rivalries close and spirits high.
Sixteen players. Full Ryder Cup format. This invitation has gone beyond sixteen — first to commit claims their spot.
The full picture is still coming into focus — as it should be at this stage of any proper event. What we can say is this: a weekend of golf at Pine Needles, Mid Pines, and Southern Pines Golf Club, with lodging included, will land somewhere in that range per man. Final figures will follow once the details are squared away. Plan accordingly.
There are quiet whispers of a collaboration — one that feels, frankly, a touch above our station. With the possible exception of Rob. That story will develop in due time.
